New hospital project endorsed by Mama Sarah Obama, Barack's grandmother!

The chiefs in Ugenya have given Matibabu 7 acres of land on which to build a hospital that will focus on the care of women and children (though, of course, it will treat everyone).

The San Francisco office of the world-renowned architectural firm, Ellerbe Becket, has graciously agreed to design it as a charitable project.

We are seeking financial support from individual donors in the United States and in Kenya to fund construction.

Mama Sarah Obama shares our concern about the lack of care available to pregnant women, and not only supports us, but hopes that with her support, we will be able to build a maternity ward named for her.
